Narromine Hospital has received a new HoverMatt thanks to Narromine Health Service Fundraisers.
The inflatable mat cost $4054, and will assist hospital staff in the movement of patients.
Narromine Health Service Fundraisers raised the money from their Doll and Craft Show held in October last year, which they anticipate will be an annual event.
The competition is the largest city end of a Inflatable Slides children’s Go tournament. The competition is divided into child care group, a grade group, the second grade group, third grade group, the fourth grade group, more than a fifth-grade group (under 16 years of age), a total of six groups. Competition Yizhong water locations in the world and the Children’s Palace 2, in accordance with arrangements for the situation.
Health Services Manager Ann Chad is very grateful to the group.
“They’ve been very generous and the staff are very appreciative of their generosity,” she said.
“We are most appreciative of having the mat and look forward to further association with Narromine Health Service Fundraisers.”
Leona Lodding decided to form the fundraising committee last year to replace the hospital’s ECG machine when it broke down.

They managed to obtain government funding for the machine, but decided to go ahead and continue to raise money for the hospital.
The Doll and Craft Show will be their primary fundraiser with all proceeds contributing to equipping the hospital.
Mrs Lodding said last year’s show was a “fantastic spectacle” which attracted people to Narromine.
“It had double benefits,” she said.

“I’d like to thank everybody who helped us in any way - even if it was just buying a raffle ticket - and I hope the community will continue to support us in the future,” she said.
“We need the hospital and we need it fully equipped,” Mrs Lodding said.
